
Wipeout is Back on Global & TVtropolis
Thrill-seekers beware, Wipeout is back on Global June 22nd! Hosted by John Anderson, John Henson, and Jill Wagner, 24 contestants of all ages, shapes, and sizes will go head to head every week in a grueling and wildly hilarious obstacle course to win the title of Wipeout Champion, which includes a grand prize of $50,000.
Wipeout viewers are a major component of the key selling demos and are 39% more likely to be A18-34 and 31% more likely to be A18-49. Additionally, with 74% of the audience likely to have children under 12, Wipeout is a great place to reach families and promote games, vacations, and entertainment.
Earlier this year, the Wipeout marathon on TVtropolis on April 2nd was a huge success. The marathon strongly outperformed the season average for key demos, increasing A25-54 audiences by 171%!
In 2011, a Canadian version of Wipeout will air for the first time, giving advertisers four great opportunities to showcase their brands during this exciting new program.
Each opportunity includes a partial sponsorship of Wipeout Canada as well as valuable on-course branding. The four brand placement opportunities are: The Qualifier, The Sweeper, The Dizzy Dummy, and The Wipeout Zone.
The Qualifier: Includes branded flags on the qualifier course, the host banner, course flags, the dais, and the entrance ramp. Partial sponsorship includes Spring 2011 x 13 weeks (1 x :07 billboard, 2 x :30 brand spots, and tag on marketing promos).
The Dizzy Dummy: Includes branded flags on the dizzy dummy course, the host banner, and the course flags. Partial sponsorship includes Spring 2011 x 13 weeks (1 x :07 billboard, 2 x :30 brand spots, and tag on marketing promos on TVTropolis).
The Wipeout Zone: Includes branded pedestals on the spinner, banner background at finish line interview, and branded banners and entrance ramp. Partial sponsorship includes Spring 2011 x 13 weeks (1 x :07 billboard, 2 x :30 brand spots, and tag on marketing promos on TVTropolis).
Additional advertising opportunities include branded slo-mo replay, "plunge of the day" replay, and over-head shot from the brand skycam. Please note that all creative must be ready for filming of Wipeout Canada by August 2010.
