
CTS Now Representing Canwest's Global Television Network
As of July 1, 2010, Canadian Television Sales (CTS) began representing Canwest's Global Television Network, which broadcasts via 10 television stations and reaches over 96% of the English-speaking population of Canada.
About Global TV Global offers a mix of entertainment, news and sports programs aimed at viewers between the ages of 18 – 49, and scores top 10 hit programs such as Prison Break, Survivor, House and 24. The network's early evening newscast, Global National, is Canada’s most watched news program with about a million viewers everyday.
Fall Lineup
- Shattered: This police procedural drama follows the adventures of an ex-cop, Kyle Loggins, who has been traumatized by the murder of his family, triggering a multiple personality disorder.
- Outsourced: Set in a Mumbai, India, where an American novelties company has outsourced its order processing, a lone American manages the call center and must explain American pop culture to his Indian employees. The NBC series will air Thursdays at 9:30 p.m.
- Outlaw: This courtroom drama stars Jimmy Smits as a Supreme Court Justice who quits his job to start his own law firm. The hour-long NBC series will air Fridays at 10 p.m.
- Love Bites: This series revolves around Annie and Frank, two single women exploring the ups and downs of dating and love, while dealing with the fact that all of their friends are married. The hour-long NBC series will air Thursdays at 10 p.m.
- Lonestar: Robert Allen (James Wolk) is a con-man from Texas who lives a secret double life. As "Bob" he is married and works as an oil-tycoon, and four hundred miles away he is "Robert" with his girlfriend Lindsey. The hour-long Fox drama will air Mondays at 9 p.m.
- Hawaii Five-0: This American procedural crime drama follows an elite unit/task force set up to fight crime in the state of Hawaii. The hour-long CBS drama will air Mondays at 10 p.m.
